Pussy Riot: the Defense needs more time to prepare for the case

For freepussyriot.org (currently under DDoS attack): On 4 July, Prosecutor Sam Kharkiv and Investigator Michael Kharkov will announce to the court when and how they intend to hold trial. FB invite to the trial on 4 July: https://www.facebook.com/events/385768994804756/ The authorities have given the Defense only until July 9 to complete the reading of the 7 volumes, totaling approximately 2800 pages (plus evidence, including videotapes and timing of tens of hours) report presented by the Investigator. A report that can only be read in the police station.

The belief is now that the authorities want to end the case quickly to stem the recent up swing in popular outcry and send the women to prison camps. It is looking like a 3+ week trial that could begin very soon.

Due to the length of the Investigators Report the Defense feels it needs more time to prepare for the case and has asked to have the actual trial start in September and the women out on bail. This was not conceded to them.
